SUMMARY POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Finance Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the local management and financial accounting functions of the Company.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITY:
- Plan, coordinate and manage the local management and financial accounting functions of the Company
- Ensure monthly closings are submitted on a timely basis and accurately.
- Manage and communicate financial issues with Regional Finance team, SBU financial teams and ensure data integrity for monthly closings.
- Provide meaningful monthly key financial performance, analysis of variances and deviations to the management team and the SBUs.
- Work with management to develop annual budgets and effective control of annual budgets.
- Develop and maintain the plant and product costing to Company policy. Review and provide operational key measures for analysis and corrective actions.
- Identify, implement and strengthen internal controls in business operation environment to meet ICSP requirements through partnership with Internal Audit.
- Ensure that the Company is in compliance with local Malaysian Statutory and Tax requirements.
- Act as local Company representative during external audits and with relevant local authorities.
- Support and evaluate financial analysis on business case proposal on CAPEX Investment to increase productivity, reduce cost and localization initiatives.
- Develop XSBU working capital reporting package. Monitor DSO, DOI & DPO terms. Coordinate with Regional Treasury on cash flow forecasting.
- Evaluate, develop and improve efficiency of business & operational processes within SBU and other functional departments.
- Lead and coordinate with XSBU finance team on financial initiatives.
- Provide financial support and liaison with key regional and global business units and finance management.
- Responsible for evaluation of financial analysis to support sustainable and profitable growth.
- Analyze and interpret financial data into meaningful key financial information for business monthly review.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum Degree in Accounting with a professional membership/designation.
- 10 years experience in business/sales and manufacturing environment in a multinational organization.
- Strong analytical skills and a wizard in spreadsheet and financial analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- High level of enthusiasm, self-motivation, and the capability to effectively operate with minimal direct supervision in a complex and challenging environment.
